Recent Case Law regarding Regulatory Processes related to Authorized and Unauthorized Immigration Practitioners
Eoin was born and raised in Cork, Ireland, and came to Vancouver in 2014 after a brief stint in Whistler. Eoin was called to the bar in BC in 2017. He practices in the areas of professional negligence and civil litigation with a particular focus on immigration negligence law.
Eoin Logan works at KSW Lawyers in Surrey BC. Eoin has appeared in the Supreme Court and in many of the Provincial Courts all over the Lower Mainland. Eoin has appeared in numerous cases involving different areas of law such as debt collection and negligence with a particular focus on Immigration Negligence.
Away from work Eoin enjoys travelling, trivia, walking his dog and keeping active. On weekends he can be found either hiking up or snowboarding down the local mountains

Hjalmar received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Los Andes in South America, a Master of Business Administration in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in 2000, and a Professional Specialization in Public Sector Management from the University of Victoria.
He also graduated from Ashton College with a diploma in Immigration Consulting.
Hjalmar's immigration consulting practice focuses on temporary residence applications and family sponsorship programs. In addition to his immigration practice, he has also represented individuals and corporations in administrative matters.
Hjalmar is fully fluent in Spanish. He is also a collaborator and an active board member for several non-profit organizations in the province of British Columbia.
Fred Y-F Li

Code of Conduct, Professionalism, and Ethics
Fred Li is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and Managing Director & Partner at an immigration practice firm in Richmond, BC. Fred obtained a Certificate from the UBC Immigration Practitioner Program in 2011 and became a practicing member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
Fred Li has extensive experience specializing in Hearings & Appeals before the Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada, Immigration Investigations that are before the Canada Border Services Agency, Humanitarian & Compassionate applications, Family Class applications, various Skilled Worker applications that are applied through Express Entry or Provincial Nominee programs, Work & Study permit applications, Criminal Rehabilitation, Medical Inadmissibility, Citizenship applications, various Business Immigration applications and preparing Judicial Review applications before the Federal Court of Canada.
Fred is an avid volunteer and volunteers for non-profit organizations such as the Immigrant Services Society of BC and Access Pro Bono.

Service Agreement - Overview and Updates
John Edwards has been a licensed immigration consultant since 2006 and is currently a member in good standing with the College of Immigration & Citizenship Consultants (CICC). He holds a BSc from the University of Guelph and worked in the environmental sciences field for approximately 10 years. He also taught English in South America and Asia prior to entering the immigration consulting profession.
Mr. Edwards is proud to have had the privilege of working alongside and under the guidance of Cecil L. Rotenberg, Q.C. (deceased), known as the "grandfather" or "dean" of Canadian immigration law, where he gained valuable experience in dealing with complex immigration matters.
In addition to being a licensed immigration consultant, Mr. Edwards is a licensed paralegal and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
His representation includes clients in both temporary resident classes and permanent residence applications. Over the years, he has successfully represented clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board at the Immigration Division, the Refugee Protection Division, and the Immigration Appeal Division.
Currently, Mr. Edwards focuses on assisting clients with Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, immigration appeals, and with in-Canada and overseas applicants dealing with inadmissibility issues. He also enjoys teaching and has taught immigration consultancy students at two private colleges in Toronto, as well as paralegal diploma courses at a private college in Hamilton, Ontario.
